Vision 2015

Recognizing the need to build networks and enhance co-operation between Asia and Europe, the Asia-Europe Society has been founded to complement existing efforts to promote better mutual understanding between the peoples of Asia and Europe, as well as to contribute to the development of societies in both regions through meaningful events, programs and networking, all based on the principles of mutual respect and equality.

The Vision 2015 of the Asia-Europe Society is to become an important voice in Asia-Europe relations, and an influential network, based on its several thousands of members that are leading representatives of the people of Asia and Europe, coming from all sectors of societies and countries in the two regions. A number of full time staff working from the international secretariat will co-ordinate all programmes and activities, while the active local chapters in all countries of Asia and Europe contribute to sustainable achievement of the Asia-Europe Society’s mission.
